Lone-worker welfare that reaches someone who can act
Lone working is routine in security, facilities and cleaning. The risk is not that someone works alone; it is that nobody notices when they stop responding.
The check-in is the easy part
Sending a scheduled message is simple. The hard part is everything after a reply fails to arrive: who is told, how quickly, by which route, and what happens if they do not answer either.
In Saltilo, a missed or unclear check-in is followed up on WhatsApp. If the person still cannot be reached, Ani tells your duty team, with who, where and since when. Every attempt is recorded as an attempt, so afterwards you can see exactly who was tried, when, and what they said.
An alarm is only as good as the person who hears it.
Safety never depends on a model
Ani makes the process faster and more human: she can read a reply written in the officer’s own words and record it for review. But the escalation rules themselves run deterministically. If a model is slow or unavailable, the escalation still happens.
A standing alarm must show its age
An alert that repeats for days becomes wallpaper. Saltilo shows how long a condition has been true, so day three looks different from day one, and a real, unresolved problem is never mistaken for a noisy job.
