Attendance and welfare Connected with Ani

Give your duty team the context to act

Know which shifts have started, which check-ins have a reply and which exceptions need a person. Keep the context with the follow-up.

Make the next step visible when a shift needs attention

A late clock-in and an unanswered welfare check need different responses. Saltilo connects each exception to the person, site and shift, so the duty team can review the situation and take responsibility for the response.

  • Compare clock-ins with the rostered shift
  • Follow up late starts and run WhatsApp welfare check-ins
  • Keep the reply, escalation and unresolved exception together

Illustrative workflow, not live customer data.

How it works

From the first signal to a reviewable outcome

An example of the connected workflow. Enabled actions and approval requirements are agreed during setup.

1

Use the shift context

The rota provides the person, location and expected time. Site and shift rules determine the relevant checks.

2

Follow up

The enabled workflow follows late starts and requests welfare replies on WhatsApp. Trial evaluation remains draft-only.

3

Escalate exceptions

A missing or unclear welfare reply is escalated to your duty team with the context needed to investigate.

4

Review the response

Your team owns the response and verifies the situation. A sent message or an escalation is not proof that somebody is safe.

Evidence for your team

See what happened and what still needs attention

  • The expected shift and recorded attendance
  • Check-in attempts and the replies received
  • Escalation activity and outstanding exceptions

Confirm the fit before setup

Saltilo is not a BS 8484 alarm-receiving service. Where a contract requires one, retain it. WhatsApp and email are the published communication channels; the officer app is not released. Confirm duty-team contacts and enabled workflows during setup.

Review security and responsibilities

Your questions, answered

Does Saltilo replace an alarm-receiving service?

No. Saltilo supports operational checks and escalation to your duty team. Retain a specialist service wherever your contract requires one.

Who responds when somebody does not reply?

Your duty team owns the response. We agree the contacts, site rules and escalation workflow during setup. A notification does not itself resolve the situation.

Can we test the workflow without messaging officers?

Yes. During the assisted trial, Ani drafts and proposes only. No WhatsApp messages are sent. Live workflows need a separately agreed scope and readiness review.
